← Beatles Albums Released in Canada
This release offers an expanded edition of the 1962-1966 (red album) and the 1967-1970 (blue album). Most tracks use the new remixes produced for the previous box sets, while some new mixes of earlier material were prepared specifically for this release; all songs are mixed in stereo and Dolby Atmos. This makes the set particularly interesting, as it offers for the first time quality stereo mixes of early Beatles catalogue tracks for which stereo versions were previously limited or non-existent.
The highlight of the set was the inclusion of the newly released Beatle song "Now And Then". Unfortunately, the set did not feature Free As A Bird or Real Love, but the omission was soon corrected on the later Anthology 4 release (2025), where Free As A Bird and Real Love were also remixed with the new technology that finally allowed Now And Then to become a potent release worthy of inclusion.
A CD edition was available as well as two different vinyl Box Set editions (black or Colored vinyl). The black LPs were always sold separately and are still available, but the Colored vinyl was only available through the limited box set (both box sets were limited). Similarly to previous sets, no Canadian pressing of these albums were ever produced, on either vinyl or CD. Any of these releases were imported from either the EU or the USA. They are listed here because these were the versions available in Canadian stores.
