This record was the first release of any remastered Beatles material on vinyl (the CDs were released the previous year, but the LPs would only appear in 2012). The record was pressed at Optimal Media in Germany and distributed worldwide. The run was limited to 4000 copies (1000 sent to the UK and the remaining 3000 to the rest of the world). This release was specially prepared for the 2010 Record Store Day (RSD) event happening on April 17 around the world.
