Collectors often like to complete a series of releases, and these series can be based on titles, but is often (also) by their chronological release, which is inevitably locked into the label evolution through time. This presented below offers this transversal look into official Canadian releases, illustrating the different releases through time. Some series obviously featured all Beatles titles, while some later reissues (notably in the early 1970s) have only featured a handful of titles that were produced sporadically to cover demand that was getting increasingly smaller at times. Either way, the page below gives access to pages of releases "per label type".
This allows one, for example, to see which rare titles were issued on the scarce Capitol pressing of the retro rainbow label, or to realize that only a handful of 45 RPM titles were pressed by RCA on the Apple label, as a support to Compo; or that Columbia started pressing records for Capitol around 1973.
