This album was never released in Canada on vinyl record. LPs were almost exclusively available by special order and were imported from either the UK or the USA. Promos, cassingles and other unique items were also import-only (the sampler CD was imported from the USA for example), but the regular stock album was, on the other hand, produced in Canada on cassette and CD.

The promo sampler was never released in Canada on vinyl record. Instead, USA vinyl copies were sent to select college radio stations across the USA and Canada. Track edits are slightly different from both the CD sampler and the regular stock album. These were pressed by Specialty Record, and only 300 copies were pressed.

CD copies were also sent to radio stations across the USA and Canada, but this time in larger numbers, and again, these were sent from the USA only (no domestic promo pressing).
