There's A Place
45.72146.15.1 | Neo Purple, Columbia Pressing (1986)
This variation features yet again a new label design, when Capitol came back this time with a third incarnation of the purple label design. This pressing by Columbia (CBS) was pressed in very small quantities and is hard to find today. It is the very last pressing of a Beatles 45 RPM in Canada, and it is the only title to have been issued on this label variation.

Availability
This pressing was available only around 1986. Soon after, Beatles vinyl record production stopped in Canada. Twist And Shout was the only Beatles record to be pressed on this label variation; it hasn't sold many copies.
General Information
This label became the new generic Capitol label for the 1986-1988 period. A few Paul McCartney titles were issued on this label, as well as a few Beatles Starline reissues (see further down the "Beatles Singles" page for visual examples). It had been used for a while by Capitol, but was short-lived for Beatles records, with only one title documented on this label.
Pressing Information
45.72146.15.1 (Neo Purple) was a STEREO release like its predecessors and these were made from the same stampers as the previous release for Side A, but a "new different" lacquer from and "old mother" on Side B.
Side A: CC1-72146-7 CC B 72146-I-7 DM TXD
Side B: TXD B-72146-CC2-72146-4. (Target Logo) TXD-72146 B

Packaging
These neo purple pressings were most likely sold in the generic grey Capitol paper checkered sleeve.
