All My Loving / This Boy
45.72144.13.2 | Retro Rainbow, Columbia pressing
MONO with custom picture sleeve
This new MONO retro rainbow pressing logically marks the 20th anniversary of the Canadian single released in 1964. These copies were shipped in a new exclusive picture sleeve and featured All My Loving in MONO, which is odd considering previous singles already had the song in stereo. This was possibly to commemorate the original 1964 release (TBC).

Availability
45.72144.13.2 was most likely available in March 1984 (possibly to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release in Canada). It is not known if this version was available until 1986, or if it was just a one time commemorative release, leaving the previous variation (45.72144.13.1) as the one on the regular roster. This would need to be confirmed.

General Information
Although there is no mention of it on the sleeve or otherwise, this single seems to align with the 20th anniversary of the release of All My Loving in Canada, so a March 1984 date for this reissue would be fairly logical (no official release date could be confirmed to date). For the occasion, a unique Canadian picture sleeve was prepared (very different from the 1964 unofficial US sleeve 45.72144.APS). Curiously, this release was made in MONO, even though previous singles were in stereo. This is possibly to commemorate the original release, but again, this would need to be confirmed.
Pressing Information
This 45 was made from yet a new lacquer cut made at Columbia. It has an extremely large trail off area compared to previous pressings. The B-Side with This Boy was presented in stereo, and seem to be a new lacquer cut from the previous master found on 45.72144.8.1. The B-Side trail off is normal (similar to previous pressings). This pressing has an extra "B" on the B-side matrix, indicating it probably came after 45.72144.13.1.
Matrix numbers for 45.72144.12.1 are as follows:
Side A: B 72144 A1
Side B: B 72144 - 7XCE 17560 - 2 B. DM TXD

Packaging
These copies were sold in a custom picture sleeve.
