Long Tall Sally
This album was a unique Canadian release
LP.6063.2.1 | "Rainbow Brackets" Label
Variation LP.6063.2.1 was released only in MONO. This pressing is recognized by a change on the label legal text. While earlier pressing prior to July of 1966 featured text writing "Capitol Records of Canada", the new labels rather displayed "Capitol Records (Canada) LTD.". These are called the "rainbow brackets labels".

Availability
This variation was available between July, 1966 and late 1969*, possibly even until 1971, for approximately 4-5 years, when it "reappeared" on the red target label (see LP.6063.5.1). This is one of the most common Rainbow label variation for this album.
General Information
This variation also features a cover with a darker red hue (like the previous variation LP.6063.1.4). Capitol Records of Canada was reincorporated as CAPITOL RECORDS (CANADA) LTD. From this point on (July 1966), all new labels would feature the new corporate information. This rainbow label remained until Capitol changed its design in 1969 in favour of the green target label.
This variation was still only available in Mono, although mono was phased out in 1968 for the regular catalogue. No stereo release of Long Tall Sally was prepared in Canada until 1976.
Pressing Information
This late 60s pressing is found with or without "earlier" no dash matrix numbers, demonstrating again that the sequencing of the pressing plates seems to have been used arbitrarily over the years. If the plates are still good, they are kept and reused until they wear out. Not being as successful as other previous albums, it's not surprising to see the early plate reused through the years. This back and forth between no dash and -2 plates might indicate that two sets of plates were used simultaneously (and randomly) used when new copies were needed, or again, that a mother could have produced multiple identical stampers across the years.

Some copies were also pressed with the "one ring" (instead of the full groove)

This cover is also built with a traditional front slick cover.

This rainbow brackets edition was shipped in tight shrink wrap, with or without the newer red and white "ATTENTION / CAUTION" Capitol / Pathe paper LP inner sleeve.
