Reel Tapes (1970)

Let It Be being released in 1970 has most likely only been issued as part of the Gold Box Series.

8 Track Tapes (1970-1980)

Let It Be was the first title to be featured with the new black slick design. Although this was used on leftover white Datapack shells, no "white slick" version of Let it be was ever produced. It is also most likely that first copies of Let It Be were only issued in the new generic black Apple cardboard slip case (and never in the red/black title slip case).

Cassette Tapes (1970-1999)

Cassette tapes were introduced in Canada as late as the fall of 1968 or early 1969. Cassettes could/would have been imported from the USA prior to this. There appears to be eight main series of cassette tapes produced in Canada between 1968 and 1993: Blue Spine, Black spine, Light Bue Spine, Black and Yellow, Black and Yellow SDR, Light Blue SDR, color Inlay (5 series) and Modern Apple tapes, all of which have their own "sub-variations".
